Project 3 Reflections
Honestly, I want this project to die.
It wasn't even what I felt to be the most difficult, but honestly it's the one I've hated the most. Just something about this made me want to just burn it alive and the more I kept working on it the more I hated it. I feel like my creative juices are just as dry as the Sahara desert with this one. The design feels flat and I feel like no matter what I do, it just gets worse. I dislike the typesetting, especially, because I feel like it just doesn't add anything to the design dynamically.
Plus, when I tried making fixes to my design in Illustrator and tried to re-link the file to the Photoshop document, it wouldn't work. THEN when I tried to redo the design, the export of the InDesign document was cutting out the words part of my design AND I CONTINUOUSLY GOT ANGRY since I couldn't fix it.
BUT ON THE PLUS SIDE. My persona was kick-ass, in my opinion. And it was fun using Photoshop to place my design on a mock-up. The mock-up was stressing me out — which is ironic, considering my process is how to de-stress, since I couldn't get the lines to match up to save my life.
I could ramble on and on and on and on about how much I hate this project, but I'll save you the trouble.
To summarize: I hate my final design, I am very happy with my persona. I am undeniably happy this project is over.

Kassi—it seems that although you hated this project, you still learned some valuable lessons from it and are aware of what might be working and not working. Way to persevere!
